The restoration of my Buick 1938 Century took 4 years, and was performed mainly by a professional. The assurance company made a note in the papers: “Restoration of very high quality”.  But this was after the second woodgraining. The first woodgraining was performed by a local “master”.  I accepted the result, because I did not know about Woodman at that time. After a meeting in the Buick club of Norway, I was told that the car really deserved top quality woodgraining. This could be done by Woodman in Sweden. I took contact, and decided to replace the first woodgraining. Woodmans list of references was long, and after visiting him, we had a deal.
The result was as original, and without the strong visual quality of super woodgraining, the whole car would be suffering. The woodgraining result lifted the pleasure of driving dramatically, and is also commented by all viewers.
